Okay, I checked again what adamant means and it says in Dictionary.com “inflexible, rigid, uncompromising“.
And “utterly unyielding in attitude or opinion in spite of all appeals, urgings, etc.“
Adamant is also a hard stone believed to be the diamond during the old times.
I tried looking for a picture in the net and it looks like this [...]
